elefuns.com new year version online!
We are starting the new year with a major update to our website. He are the updates and new keyfeatures:
Improved Design:
We have tweaked around with the design and adapted everything to a common design.
Most obvious you can find at the startpage now a little box with the amount of
registered users.
Backgrounds:
In the detail view of the backgrounds you can switch now between the tiled preview
and and the single image preview. Check it out!
Fonts:
In the fonts section a detail view for every font has been added, providing you
a better preview of the font and letting you choose the text size (later color
etc.) of the font. Just click on a font preview to get the detail view. Of course
you can enter your own text that the preview will display than throughout the
whole website in all previews for you.
Search function:
Results of the search function have been improved. There is now a summary of
your search at the top of the page and the results are displayed more clearly.
On the startpage you will find a little box with the last searches other users
have done.
User settings:
The "My elefuns" section is now fully operating. In your setting section you
can add more details about yourself and your website. There is also an option
to stay logged in from the computer of your choice. Just click the box and update
your settings.
Galleries:
The user galleries are finally online. You can have up to 2 galleries at the
moment where you can collect your most favourite files and show them to others.
You can also browse galleries that other users have created.
Lightbox:
Your lightbox has now full ZIP download functionality too. While you browse elefuns.com,
you add files you like to your lightbox which works like a shopping basket. Afterwards
you can download your whole lightbox in one zip file or promote it to a gallery.
My files:
Now you are able to upload your own files! If you have animated gifs, backgrounds,
fonts or sounds that are missing in our news_catalogue, you can upload them, news_categorize
them and add keywords. You can even add them to your galleries, showcasing them
to other users.
Link X-Change:
Our link x-change section has been improved as well, both in style and functionality.
